Whalsay Bird Diary   by John Lowrie Irvine

This site is basically an online diary of birds seen on Whalsay in the Shetland Islands. Current news, with tales of past rarities and a few photographs thrown in. Thanks  to my son Rory for typing up most of the text and especially to Angela for her artists eye when fixing up my photos on Photoshop. Lastly big thanks to Caroline at the Whalsay learning Centre for her continued help. There is no way I could have built this site without her web design course.
